The Society for Paranormal Research and Investigation

The Society for Paranormal Research and Investigation (S.P.R.I.) is a dedicated group of people in the Scranton\Wilkes- Barre Pennsylvania area who are interested in investigating the paranormal. Our goal is to further the field of paranormal research while easing the fears and concerns of our clients and community.

We employ audio and video equipment along with interviews and research to complete a four-dimensional view of the places we investigate. Our tools of the trade include; night vision cameras, digital and analog voice recorders, digital thermometers and electro-magnetic field detectors. We believe that if the inhabitants of a building can experience a spirit then that spirit or its actions can be recorded by conventional equipment.

Above all we will strive to create and expand an understanding of the paranormal for our clients and in our community. As is too often the case, society as a whole tends to fear what it does not understand. We will help our clients and in turn our community to understand what they are experiencing, and thus quell their fears.

S.P.R.I. is an active member of the paranormal community. Through these associations we have accessed not only the most current techniques and theories but also the most innovative hoaxes. We aim to separate the normal and identify the paranormal.

We understand that telling someone about your paranormal experiences can be difficult. We know. Many of us have had similar experiences to yours. We are here to listen to your accounts and share your concerns.

As home and business owners, we realize the need to protect both your property and confidentiality. S.P.R.I. will do its best to gather the information we need with as little intrusion as possible. Our investigations work around your schedule.

We at S.P.R.I. continue our service after the investigation with follow up interviews and acquiring additional assistance if necessary. Copies of all video and audio recordings are available to the client upon request, and there will be no public display of the evidence without written consent.

The Society for Paranormal Research and Investigation is, first and foremost, here to help; before, during and after the investigation.

Our investigations are conducted for the thrill of discovery and to further the field of paranormal research. There is no cost to the client.
