To become an investigator-in-training: 1. Fill out membership form 2. Obtain a current background check 3. Sign a code of conduct. 4. Attend at least 2 monthly meetings 5. Demonstrate
people skills and team work ethic To attain the rank of investigator: All of the above plus the following: 1. Adhere to code of conduct. 2. Attend at least 6 additional monthly meetings 3. Become familiar with investigation procedures 4. Participate in at least 3 investigations and receive mentoring (overview training) in at least 2 of the following: hi-tech equipment, hand held equipment ( cameras, recorders (EVP), EMF detectors), interviewing. 5. Perform evidence review on at least 2 investigations you are not a part of and all that you are. This may include web viewing of photographs or EVPs. 6. Help out at least 1 SPRI public relations event each year 7. Attend at least 1 formal training class. 8. Receive at least 1 unsolicited recommendation from a Senior investigator or higher.
